Are you interested in clinical IT systems and want to ensure the reliable operation of medical applications? As an IT Application Engineer, you will manage central systems for recording and processing patient data, optimise their configuration, and support integration into the existing IT landscape.
In collaboration with medical departments, IT colleagues, and external manufacturers, you ensure secure and high-performance applications. At the same time, you contribute to technical projects and support the continuous development of digital processes in the hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
Administration and further development of clinical applications for patient and treatment data
Customising user interfaces and configuring documentation workflows
Analysing malfunctions, ensuring system availability, and coordinating with software manufacturers
Implementing updates and adjustments considering clinical requirements and data protection regulations
Assisting with the integration of medical devices, interfaces, and larger system projects
Technical user support at 2nd level and coordination of external support services
Qualifications:
IT education or equivalent further training in the IT field
Confident handling of database-supported applications
Knowledge of server operation, databases, and interfaces
Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, and C# is an advantage
Experience in hospital or healthcare environment is a plus
Reliable, structured, and team-oriented working style, very good German skills in spoken and written form, and willingness to do on-call duties after training; English skills are an advantage
