Your tasks

• You accompany the patients of the admission and emergency ward 1 during the night and take over the needs- and resource-oriented, individual treatment and advice of our patients, e.g. regarding sleep-promoting measures.
• You also care for patients in the intensive care area with your nursing professionalism and successfully master complex situations in a two-person team.
• You carry out patient admissions during the night with the medical specialist and document relevant events and your services correctly.
• You are responsible for the maintenance of the ward at night.
• If necessary, you take on shifts during the day.

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Dipl. Nurse HF / FH (for foreign qualifications, recognition or a positive pre-check by the Swiss Red Cross is required).
• You have professional experience in psychiatric nursing, ideally from the admission and emergency area, or are interested in specialising in this field.
• You enjoy working in a two-person team at night and remain calm even in complex situations.
• You have social skills, are resilient, work independently and responsibly, and can collaborate well in interdisciplinary teams.
• Good IT skills facilitate administrative tasks. In addition, you have very good German language skills (at least C1).

On the first day, you will be onboarded in your new team and with other colleagues. You will set up your new workplace and get an overview of your upcoming tasks. You will also receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
