RAMP SUPERVISOR CAREER PATH (M/F/D)

STARTING SALARY | 4852.- CHF/MONTH OR HOURLY WAGE
TRAINING DURATION | APPROX. 12 MONTHS
START | IMMEDIATE OR BY AGREEMENT

Your duties from the start of employment:
- Loading and unloading aircraft as part of a team
- Operating and driving light and heavy handling equipment to transport luggage, freight, mail, etc.
Your training:
- Various training modules (web-based and on-the-job training)
- Regular site meetings with your supervisors
- Practical driving test on the airport apron
After successful training and suitability, the following will be added:
- Responsibility for the operational leadership of a group of operational workers in daily operations
- Contact and coordination with various interfaces, such as Load Control, Transport, Pilots, and Team Managers of the ramp department
- Monitoring loading and unloading in compliance with all regulations and safety requirements
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training with a certificate of competence or gymnasium-level Matura
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form (native German speaker or equivalent proficiency)
- Good English skills (at least B2)
- Swiss or EU citizenship or corresponding work permit
- Strong physical resilience and fitness
- Weather resistance
- Age between 20 and 40 years
- Valid driving licence category B
- Willingness and mobility (car) for irregular shift work, i.e. working hours between 05:00 and 23:30 including weekends

- The following work deployment models are available to you:
- Classic monthly salary: up to 2 split shifts per month – starting salary of 4852.- CHF/month, after promotion to supervisor 5206.- CHF/month
- Part-time models with hourly wage: starting salary from 32.25 CHF, after promotion to supervisor from 34.80 CHF (availability for at least 14 days per month, including at least 3 full weekends, must be ensured)
- Split shifts are divided shifts with a break of 2 to 2.5 hours
- 39-hour week, five weeks’ holiday
