International Service Technician (m/f/d) at Krämer AG, Bassersdorf

Krämer AG develops and produces innovative systems for the international pharmaceutical industry in Bassersdorf. As a pioneer in tablet dedusting, we have over 50 years of experience and support our customers with a worldwide sales and service network.

As part of a long-term planned succession, we are looking for you as an international service technician. During a comprehensive induction and handover phase, you will get to know our systems, processes, and customers together with our experienced incumbent. Afterwards, you will gradually take on a varied range of tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility, worldwide assignments, and direct customer contact.

Your tasks

You accompany our equipment from the final test run to reliable operation at the customer’s site. You will be active both at our plant in Bassersdorf and with customers around the world.

Specifically, this means:

• You conduct test runs and technical acceptances.
• You carry out equipment acceptance at our plant, sometimes together with customers.
• You install and commission our equipment at customers worldwide.
• You perform repair and service assignments directly on site.
• You reliably document your field assignments.
• You plan and lead internal as well as external technical training sessions.
• You record repair and spare parts orders in our ERP system.
• You support our design department with trials, prototypes, and the further development of our products.
• You contribute to the establishment and maintenance of our worldwide service network.
• You identify customer needs and actively sell service offerings, spare parts, and modifications.

Your goal: professional customer care, satisfied customers, and achieving your agreed individual sales targets.

Your profile

• Technical basic training in the machinery industry
• Further training as a technician HF or a comparable qualification is an advantage
• Good knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, and electronics
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Organisational talent, flexibility, and a strong sense of order
• Confident manner, negotiation skills, and persuasiveness
• Enjoy working in a team and direct customer contact
• Very good German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to undertake international travel of around 40 to 70 percent (excluding weekend or public holiday assignments)
