An experienced and technically proficient individual is sought for the further development of a software landscape that has grown over years. The position combines modern software development with the targeted modernisation of existing systems and offers the opportunity to actively integrate new technologies such as AI into products and development processes.
Responsibilities:
Development and further development of sophisticated software solutions and new features
Accompanying the entire development process from conception and implementation to go-live
Ensuring performance, quality, security and technical sustainability
Maintenance, refactoring and gradual modernisation of existing software solutions
Application of modern development and architectural approaches
Creation of clean code, automated tests and technical documentation
Use of AI-supported tools in daily development
Development and integration of machine learning and LLM-based functions
Consideration of data protection, security and reliability in AI solutions
Handling technical incidents and support with demanding problem-solving
Qualifications:
Completed studies at a university of applied sciences or university in computer science or comparable qualification
Several years of solid experience in PHP development, ideally with Laravel and PHP 8.x
Very good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL as well as complex SQL queries
Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating external services
Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 as well as understanding of modern frontend concepts
Experience in further development and modernisation of grown or legacy systems
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps principles
Experience with AI tools as well as integration of ML or LLM-based functions in productive environments
Confident handling of Git and established branching strategies
Analytical, independent and solution-oriented working style
Initiative and willingness for continuous further development
Languages: Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills.
