Firmware Developer (m/f/d)

The company supports customers in various industries and combines mechanical, electrical, and digital expertise into customised systems. The scope of work includes technical sales, project engineering, and customer support. You work closely with machine manufacturers, analyse requirements, and develop tailored drive solutions – from design to commissioning. Responsibility and technical depth characterise the daily work. You develop innovative firmware components for demanding industrial applications.
You analyse technical requirements with internal and external contacts and translate these into clear solution designs.
You specify and programme software for control functions and industrial communication solutions.
You implement hardware-near C software for ARM Cortex processors of the A and M series.
You verify your developments with automated module, integration, and system tests and work closely with adjacent engineering teams.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, or a comparable education.
You bring several years of experience in embedded systems development as well as very good C knowledge.
You are familiar with modern development environments, version control, and requirements tools such as Git or comparable solutions.
You work quality-conscious, structured, and systematic and possess strong analytical skills.
You convince through innovative spirit, perseverance, and communication skills; experience with automation or control technology is a plus.
