About the job
HR Officer 60% (m/f/d)
You want to do more than just manage HR; you want to take responsibility, advise managers, and actively help develop an organisation? At the same time, you are ready to get hands-on and reliably ensure the operational HR business from A to Z? Then this role might suit you.
Disch AG at the Othmarsingen (AG) location is a leading contract manufacturer of pharmaceutical lozenges and high-quality dietary supplements. Around 50 employees work together in a diverse production environment. As a manageable SME, we combine short decision-making paths and personal exchange with the requirements of a professional, regulated production operation. Our daily work is characterised by proximity to production, different professional groups, and pragmatic collaboration across all areas.
In this versatile role, you are the central contact person for all HR matters in our company. You work independently, close to our employees and managers, and enjoy a high level of trust and personal responsibility. Besides day-to-day business, you continuously develop our HR processes and tools and actively contribute your expertise to the organisation.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the entire operational HR from entry to exit
- Recruitment including job advertisements, applicant selection, interviews, and hiring
- Preparation of employment contracts, contract amendments, interim and employment references
- Independent execution and control of payroll processing in Abacus
- Management of time tracking and relevant HR systems
- Responsibility for personnel administration, personnel files, and master data
- Management of absences and coordination with social and personal insurance providers
- Advice and support for our managers on labour law and personnel-related issues
- Support in challenging employee and management situations
- Assistance with disciplinary measures
- Creation and further development of HR key figures, regulations, processes, and tools
- Active participation in change and organisational development processes
- Consulting the management on personnel management matters
- Continuous development of our HR – pragmatic and tailored to our company
What you bring
You are a person people like to trust. You approach people openly, listen, and can also take a clear stance. Discretion, reliability, and a responsible approach to sensitive topics are natural for you.
- Solid further education in HR (e.g. HR specialist certificate)
- Professional experience in a broadly based HR function in an SME is essential
- Very good knowledge of Swiss labour law and social insurance
- Extensive experience in payroll and personnel administration, ideally in Abacus
- Independent, structured, and very precise working style
- Empathy, strong communication skills, and a good sense for different people and situations
- Willingness to take responsibility and drive topics forward independently
- Enjoyment in conveying your HR knowledge clearly to managers and strengthening them in their leadership role
- A pragmatic SME mentality: you think along, get involved yourself, and find solutions that work in everyday life
What makes this position special
You know the reality of an SME and feel comfortable there: short paths, broad responsibility, a lot of independence, and the willingness to get operational yourself.
With us, you are not a small cog in a large HR department. You largely manage your area of expertise independently and have direct influence on how HR is lived and further developed in our company.
Both are part of the role: thinking ahead and developing, but also implementing yourself. You advise managers, develop processes, and bring in new ideas – but you also prepare an employment contract yourself, handle a payroll question, or conduct a job interview.
Your benefits with us
- 60% part-time workload, flexibly arranged
- Meal discounts worth CHF 2,000 per year at regional providers
- Financial support for childcare costs
- Supplementary occupational pension scheme for all employees (no coordination deduction, low entry threshold, etc.)
- 5 weeks’ holiday
- Very good accessibility by public transport and free parking spaces
