Technical Project / Delivery Manager (f/m/d)

On behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Technical Project / Delivery Manager (f/m/d) to strengthen delivery management within technical teams working on software, cloud, and infrastructure topics.

The role combines project management, cross-functional coordination, and facilitation of teams operating in Scrum/Kanban, in an environment where infrastructure projects also coexist that require a more traditional Waterfall approach.

The objective is to bring more structure and visibility on priorities, commitments, and dependencies, while enabling technical teams to deliver efficiently without becoming a bottleneck for other projects in the organisation.

• Structure and monitor the roadmap, priorities, commitments, and deadlines to provide clear visibility on what can be delivered, when, and with which dependencies.
• Manage or coordinate cross-functional technical projects involving multiple teams, particularly around cloud, virtualisation, storage, security, and platforms.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support software teams in sprint tracking, blocker management, prioritisation, and delivery coordination.
• Adapt the management style to the context, combining Scrum/Kanban for continuous delivery activities and Waterfall for projects requiring milestones and strong dependencies.
• Identify, monitor, and help resolve risks, dependencies, and inter-team blockers, especially when security issues or external constraints impact commitments.
• Ensure clear communication with technical teams, internal clients, and senior stakeholders, and collaborate closely with existing Project Managers, with the ability to occasionally take over their scopes.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, Technical Project Management, or Delivery Management in complex technological environments.
• Practical experience as a Scrum Master or in an equivalent role, with good mastery of facilitating Scrum ceremonies, sprint tracking, and blocker management.
• Proven experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall approaches, with the ability to adapt practices to the context rather than applying a methodology rigidly.
• Good understanding of technical environments such as Cloud, Infrastructure, Virtualisation, Storage, DevOps, Software Engineering, Security, or IAM.
• Strong skills in organisation, prioritisation, dependency management, and cross-functional coordination, with the ability to influence multiple teams without direct hierarchical authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and synthesis skills, comfortable with both engineers and management; fluent in French and English, and residing in Switzerland or willing to relocate there.
