As a leading Swiss company for the development, manufacture and repair of vehicles and kits, we employ 600 staff in Bellach (SO). In addition to an extensive bus model range, HESS designs, builds and sells commercial vehicle bodies and conversions of all kinds.

To complement our team in the Commercial Vehicles Division, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Quality Inspector at the production site in Subingen (SO). Are you a reliable individual who impresses with precision, responsibility and organisational talent? In this versatile role, you ensure that our vehicles meet the highest quality standards when delivered to customers.

Your Tasks

• Receipt of newly delivered vehicles and comprehensive, precise documentation of the respective vehicle condition
• Creation and management of the quality documents (Q-documents) for the vehicles and ensuring the required standards in all work steps
• Carrying out quality checks on the assembled vehicles
• Preparing vehicle dossiers for the motor vehicle inspection (MFK) and maintaining vehicle data in the internal work list
• Complete filing of vehicle data including comprehensive photo documentation
• Preparing vehicles for delivery and preparing the necessary documents
• Supporting the production manager and workshop manager with administrative and operational tasks

Our Requirements

• Completed training or equivalent professional experience (ideally in automotive or technical fields)
  
• Passion for vehicles and a good eye for detail
  
• Confident use of common office software (MS Office) and willingness to learn new systems
• Structured, independent and extremely conscientious working style
• Communicative and helpful personality who enjoys working in a team
• Valid driving licence category B
