Technical Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will operate in an exciting, technologically demanding, and varied working environment. You will take responsibility in the areas of procurement and supply chain and contribute to shaping modern technologies in an international context.
Responsibilities:
Planning and controlling material and procurement requirements at both operational and strategic levels
Ensuring demand-oriented supply for projects, manufacturing, and after-sales areas
Further development of inventory levels, disposition parameters, and stock concepts
Early detection of possible procurement and supply bottlenecks and development of appropriate countermeasures
Creation, review, and ongoing updating of technical bills of materials for projects
Early coordination with project purchasing regarding critical materials, procurement times, and suitable purchasing strategies
Building and long-term development of a high-performance supplier network domestically and abroad
Management and optimisation of supplier information, purchasing conditions, and relevant master data
Assessment of supplier performance and initiation of measures for sustainable improvement
Participation in interdisciplinary projects to optimise processes and digitalise workflows
Coordination with the departments of design/engineering, project management, manufacturing, and purchasing
Support of purchasing management in conceptual, organisational, and strategic matters
Qualifications:
Technical basic training, supplemented by further education in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a comparable field
Solid professional experience in at least one of the areas of purchasing, disposition, supply chain, work preparation, or industrial project management
Confident handling of technical bills of materials, material requirements planning, and common ERP solutions
Knowledge in the field of machinery, plant, or technical equipment manufacturing is helpful
Very good German skills as well as good English skills for daily collaboration
Strong analytical skills combined with a good understanding of processes, costs, and economic contexts
Independent and systematic approach with a strong solution orientation
Convincing appearance and the ability to represent interests to various internal and external contacts
Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high level of responsibility
