What you can contribute
- Ensure the operation of systems and vehicles (Mercedes G-Class, LAPV, Duro, GMTF, GSANF, Mercedes and IVECO heavy trucks, Lanz & Marti and Goldhofer trailers, Fassi and Palfinger loading cranes, Liebherr wheeled cranes and Renault coaches) within the required timeframe
- Monitor the operational availability of systems and vehicles
- Initiate preventive maintenance work, repairs and inspections
- Manage priorities to replace defective equipment according to tactical and logistical situations
- As a supervisor, carry out planning and leadership activities
What makes you unique
- Training in automotive mechanics (heavy trucks, construction machinery, agricultural machinery), precision mechanics or locksmithing
- Completed recruit/officer school in the Swiss Army; Swiss women without basic military training receive corresponding function-adapted instruction
- Civil driving licence (cat. B1; other categories depending on the role)
- Knowledge of German (level depending on the role) and English (level depending on the role), for your own safety and that of your comrades, as well as to ensure effective collaboration with the Austrian contingent and local personnel
