What to expect
- You will lead a maintenance team of 8 to 12 employees both technically and personally
- You will ensure the technically correct maintenance of SOB rail vehicles in compliance with quality and safety standards
- You will further develop workflows, equipment and processes within the team using common LEAN methods
- You will plan personnel according to the Working Hours Act (AZG)
- You will ensure training and further education within the team
- You will maintain active collaboration with various departments within SOB
What you bring
- You have a technical vocational training in the field of electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally with further training in these professions
- You have several years of professional experience in a technical environment (ideally maintenance)
- You are a goal-oriented, resilient leader with organisational skills and constructive assertiveness in a dynamic environment
- You have a strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with an independent working style and the ability to communicate complex challenges clearly
- You are an empathetic, proactive and loyal team player
- You have IT affinity, experience with SAP is an advantage
- You are willing to work five to seven weekend shifts per year
- You have experience with Lean methods
What we offer
SOB maintains a function-based salary system that ensures internal pay equity.
With an employment level of at least 40%, you travel free of charge on public transport in 2nd class. Your relatives benefit from discounts when purchasing a GA. At SOB, you work 41 hours per week with a 100% workload. You receive at least five weeks of holiday per year. With the bandwidth model, you can take additional days off.
Would you like more than five weeks of holiday? We offer the possibility of the bandwidth model. For 2% of your annual salary, you receive five additional days off, for 4% ten additional days off credited. The same applies in reverse: you can forgo days off and receive more salary instead.
Do public holidays fall on a weekend? At SOB, these days are credited to you.
