Nurse Specialist for Meal Support of Patients with Anorexia (Workload by Arrangement)
from 1 January 2027
What are your main tasks?
- You accompany patients with anorexia during meals according to the established eating concept and individual care plan.
- You participate in meals as part of the therapeutic eating concept, take on a role model function, and support patients through appreciative observation and accompaniment.
- You help patients manage challenging eating situations and provide support through presence, continuity, and reliability, even in stressful or conflict-laden moments.
- You ensure adherence to the agreed meal structure and promote a calm, respectful atmosphere.
- You observe eating behaviour, document relevant observations, and closely communicate with the responsible nursing team.
What do you bring?
- You are a qualified nurse HF/FH or hold an equivalent recognised qualification.
- You are interested in supporting people with eating disorders as well as psychiatric conditions and conduct therapeutic relationships professionally and reflectively.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to set clear and supportive boundaries.
- You work responsibly, independently, and in close coordination with the nursing team.
