You can contribute to this role
- Ensure the functionality of systems and vehicles within demand-oriented deadlines, specifically Mercedes G-Class, SOFA, LAPV, Duro, GMTF, GSANF, trucks of the brands Mercedes and IVECO, trailers Lanz & Marti / Goldhoffer, loading crane Fassi / Palfinger, pneumatic crane Liebherr as well as company vehicles of the Renault brand
- Monitor the operational readiness of systems and vehicles
- Initiate preventive maintenance work, repairs and inspections
- Ensure the prioritised replacement of defective equipment according to tactical and logistical situation
- Management functions additionally include planning and leadership tasks
What makes you unique
- Completed vocational training as a car, truck, construction machinery, agricultural machinery mechanic, polymechanic or metalworker
- Completed recruit/officer school of the Swiss Army; women with Swiss citizenship without basic military training will be trained militarily according to the function
- Civil driving licence (Cat. B1; other categories depending on function)
- For your own safety and that of your comrades, as well as for smooth cooperation with Austrian colleagues and locally employed persons, knowledge of German (level depending on function) and English (level depending on function) is required for this role
