As a System Engineer Operational Technology (OT), you ensure the safe, stable and high-performance operation of the central OT infrastructure of Stadtwerk Winterthur. You are responsible for its technical conception, further development and continuous optimisation, thereby making an important contribution to the reliable operation of our process control systems for the critical infrastructure of Stadtwerk Winterthur.
System Engineer Operational Technology (OT) (100%)
Your Tasks
- Analysis of requirements and conception of the central OT infrastructure and architecture as well as its further development
- Implementation of OT projects and support with technical questions from users
- Ensuring stable operation as well as monitoring and optimisation of the OT infrastructure
- Maintenance and updating of technical operational and system documentation
- Collaboration with and coordination of internal and external stakeholders, especially the municipal IT, specialist departments and OT system suppliers.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in the ICT sector with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or further training at the higher technical college (HF) level in computer science, system technology or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in engineering and operation of IT/OT infrastructures
- Sound knowledge of system and network architectures as well as IT/OT security
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style with strong problem-solving skills
- Communicative and team-oriented personality with enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Driving licence category B and willingness to perform on-call duty
