Our client is a successful, internationally active industrial company with a significant Swiss location in the city of Zurich. With over 700 employees and its own plant, the location plays a central role within the group.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a competent and strong leadership personality as Head of Controlling. In this key position, you will be responsible for the entire controlling of the Swiss location and act as a strategic sparring partner for the CFO, the management, and the group.

Your Tasks
- Leadership and further development of a team (3 controllers)
- Overall responsibility for project, overhead, and plant controlling as well as operating result accounting including management and group reporting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the Head of Finance
- Responsibility for the entire corporate planning of the Zurich location
- Acting as a competent business partner for various site and group functions
- Deputising for the Head of Finance
- Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and reports as well as active development and optimisation of operational controlling
- Responsibility for and active participation in the transformation from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA in the controlling area
Your Profile
- Completed studies in business administration, economics, or a comparable field (university, university of applied sciences, or similar)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling or operational accounting of an industrial company with a production environment
- Strong IT affinity and enjoyment in working with modern systems and digital tools
- Solid SAP knowledge as well as very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel
- Leadership experience and pronounced leadership competence
- Reliable, proactive, and integral personality with a precise, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking as well as high communication and team skills
