Medical Secretary - Rheumatology/Allergy and Paediatric Immunodeficiencies Unit
The Woman-Mother-Child Department is looking, from 1 August 2026 or for a date to be agreed, for its Rheumatology, Allergy and Paediatric Immunodeficiencies Unit, for a medical secretary at 80%, to complete its administrative team.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research and training.
Within the Woman-Mother-Child Department, the Paediatrics Service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other services in the department such as neonatology, paediatric surgery, adolescent medicine and gynaecology and obstetrics.
Mission
- You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally
- You efficiently manage the organisation of the Unit's consultation
- You provide administrative support to the Unit's doctors in their clinical activities
- You contribute to the quality, development and improvement of the Unit's services.
Profile
- You hold a commercial CFC and/or a medical secretary diploma or an equivalent recognised qualification
- You have at least 5 years of successful experience in the medical field
- You have perfect command of French spelling and a good knowledge of medical terminology
- You have good analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of organisation and priorities
- Your collaborative spirit allows you to follow and manage several files simultaneously
- You see yourself as a flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual aid
- You have the ability to cope with a sustained activity and to work in a multidisciplinary team
- You are comfortable with MS Office software and, ideally, with the CHUV's IT tools.
