The International Commercial Relations service of the Law & International Affairs Division represents Switzerland's interests in the field of intellectual property at the international level. As an advisor in intellectual property, innovation and public health, you work at the intersection of these three areas.
Intellectual Property, Innovation and Public Health Advisor (m/f)
What awaits you with us
- Represent the IPI in work related to Swiss foreign policy on health (PES)
- Conduct negotiations and defend Switzerland's interests internationally
- Raise awareness of the role of intellectual property in research, innovation and public health
- Develop positions and coordinate files within the IPI and with other federal offices
- Design and organise specialised projects and events
- Connect the IPI with all key stakeholders in the field at national and international levels
What makes you successful
- Master's degree in international relations, public health, political science, law or a related field
- Several years of professional experience and negotiation experience, preferably in an international context
- In-depth knowledge of international health law and, preferably, intellectual property law
- Diplomatic skill and a partnership spirit in collaboration with other federal offices and other stakeholders
- Ability to explain complex issues simply and convincingly
- Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language and excellent command of English
- Team spirit, autonomy, reliability and precision
