About the job
The General Vocational School Zurich is the competence center for the professions of gastronomy and hospitality. In addition, it is responsible for the basic education of various other professions and also offers courses in the continuing education sector. With around 2200 learners and over 100 teachers in 17 different professions, it is one of the larger vocational schools in the canton of Zurich.
A teaching position is to be filled at the beginning of the autumn semester 2026/27. The employment is according to the regulations for secondary school and vocational school teachers as a lecturer.
- You teach the subject vocational studies at ABZH in the areas of EFZ, possibly also EBA.
- You actively participate in the development of joint teaching materials on Moodle.
- You support the specialist group in developments within the scope of your workload.
- Open-minded, team-oriented, communicative and committed personality with high social skills
- Independent, flexible working style with high initiative
- Completed training as a vocational studies teacher in a secondary role or willingness to complete this in the medium term
- Professional certificate or similar in the field of meat specialist
- A committed team
- Comprehensive support at the start and in the first semester
- A workplace at a school undergoing change in a centrally located place near Zurich main station
