Deployed across several sites, the Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations on two sites, a residential department for adults with disabilities, with intellectual disabilities or physical issues, a specialised school, and a sector for workshops and vocational training.

The specialised school department "La Passerelle" welcomes children aged 6 to 18 with learning and developmental difficulties. It provides comprehensive support for the child including schooling, therapeutic interventions and follow-ups, and educational support, with the possibility of weekday accommodation and out-of-school care times. For our weekday accommodation which hosts 14 school-age young people, and our out-of-school sector we are looking for:

A qualified educator between 70%-80%, fixed-term contract from October 2026 to July 2027, potentially extendable

The main mission will be to offer educational support to children/adolescents, fostering the link between school life, leisure time, and family life. The activity is shared between support in weekday accommodation and the animation of out-of-school activities (sports, homework, cultural activities, etc.).

In close collaboration with families and the professional network, you will contribute to the development and implementation of an individualised project adapted to each young person, within the framework of an intervention aimed at learning autonomy, self-determination, and based on the resources and skills of the young people and their families.

As an experienced person capable of managing projects, you will be able to propose enjoyable and fulfilling activities, whether group or individual. You will be able to put into perspective and reflect on a systemic and multidisciplinary approach based on respect for responsibility, autonomy, and the vulnerability of each individual. Dynamic, communicative, you have a strong interest in working within an interdisciplinary team.

Working hours are annualised and spread from 7am to 10pm, from Monday midday to Friday midday. The services are closed during Vaud school holidays.

We require:

• A recognised social educator diploma ES or HES,
• A valid driving licence,
• A strong interest in the field of specialised pedagogy and learning difficulties,
