Your role
As a member of the Swatch Group legal department, you manage the legal affairs of the internationally renowned brand Tissot. In this position, you advise the company’s various departments daily, from marketing to sales, purchasing to logistics, customer service, as well as finance and human resources, on a wide range of legal issues. You contribute to major international projects, for example, the launch of new innovative products such as Tissot Connect, the development of online sales, or new IT solutions.
You advise and support our brand Tissot on sales matters, including from a competition law perspective, and prepare the corresponding contracts. You enforce our intellectual property rights and negotiate contracts in marketing for sponsorship events, brand ambassadors, and advertising campaigns. You handle employment law and data protection issues, negotiate lease agreements, and provide answers to legal questions in the areas of digitalisation and social media.
In close cooperation with external lawyers, you conduct any court proceedings. You ensure compliance with group policies in the various areas of activity and provide regular training. Finally, you interact with your colleagues from the group’s subsidiaries abroad to coordinate the local aspects of major projects.
You play an important role in a team of motivated and talented lawyers. Your workplace is in Biel and at least one day per week in Le Locle directly at the brand’s headquarters.
Your knowledge and skills
You are very familiar with Swiss law, hold a lawyer’s licence or an equivalent qualification, and have several years of professional experience in a company or a commercial law firm. You are experienced with international business projects and comfortable negotiating complex contracts with partners abroad.
With French or German as your mother tongue and very good knowledge of the other language, you are accustomed to working in French, English, and German.
You enjoy your work and have a special ability to easily recognise legal and economic contexts and to correctly assess opportunities and risks.
You apply your excellent legal knowledge and experience to the efficient review, analysis, drafting, and negotiation of contracts in various legal fields and independently and proactively develop solution proposals.
You have negotiation skills, perseverance, and show determination. You know how to advise company management clearly and pragmatically to facilitate decision-making and business operations.
You are responsible, loyal, and resilient and stand out for your flexibility and commitment. You can correctly set priorities in any situation.
We offer you a performance-oriented and market-appropriate salary, 13 monthly salaries, as well as generous allowances. Together with other benefits, this results in an attractive overall package.
