Azure, security, data and AI on a shared platform: shape the technological foundation for a modern, secure and scalable IT landscape.
We are looking for an experienced individual who connects cloud infrastructure, cyber security and digital platforms. The role offers technical freedom to design and the opportunity to combine modern Microsoft technologies with forward-looking data and AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
Architecture and continuous development of a modern Azure-based platform landscape
Design of an integrated Microsoft environment for cloud, workplace, automation and data
Technical advancement of Microsoft 365 and digital workplace solutions
Building the technological foundation for data analytics, AI and modern data platforms
Development and implementation of security architectures for cloud and enterprise platforms
Establishment of security controls, governance and technical protection mechanisms
Monitoring of security requirements and continuous optimisation of the security level
Automation of infrastructure and platform processes
Use of infrastructure as code for reproducible and scalable environments
Evaluation of modern cloud, container and automation technologies
Technical management of external IT service providers and strategic technology partners
Definition, negotiation and monitoring of service levels and technical performance agreements
Support of cloud transformations and technological modernisation projects
Development of technical standards and architectural principles for a future-proof platform
Qualifications:
Degree, advanced vocational training or comparable solid qualification in computer science
Several years of experience in cloud engineering, system engineering, IT architecture or cyber security
Sound knowledge of modern Microsoft technologies
Very good experience with Azure and Microsoft 365
Understanding of workplace automation and digital workplace concepts
Experience with cloud security, governance and technical security concepts
Knowledge of infrastructure as code, ideally with Terraform
Experience with Kubernetes or comparable container platforms is an advantage
Understanding of modern data platforms, analytics or AI architectures is an advantage
Experience in managing external service providers and technology partners
Strong architectural understanding and analytical thinking
High personal responsibility as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
