Plastics Technologist EFZ – Prototypes & Series Production (100%)

Do you want to try new things in injection moulding and further develop your skills?

At Torson Injex, you produce prototypes with which our customers develop their next products. At the same time, you set up conventional injection moulding tools and ensure reliable series production. Different materials, demanding components and constantly new technical challenges make your working day varied.

Originating from an ETH startup and a traditional plastics company, we combine new manufacturing processes with many years of injection moulding experience. Our customers come from a wide range of industries. What their projects have in common: they need well thought-out solutions and people who enjoy tinkering and getting stuck in.

This is what you do with us:

• You independently set up conventional injection moulding tools and the associated peripherals.
• You monitor and optimise ongoing production. In case of process problems, you get to the root of the causes.
• You manufacture injection moulding prototypes within a very short time using our unique process and accompany new components until the first usable sample.
• You check the quality of the manufactured parts and document the production parameters.
• You contribute your own ideas to further develop our processes and production workflows.

This is what you bring with you:

• A completed apprenticeship as a plastics technologist EFZ or another technical vocational training with verifiable practical experience in plastics processing, especially in injection moulding.
• Good technical understanding and manual dexterity, high quality awareness
• Enjoyment in setting up machines and the interplay of material, tool and process.
• Curiosity and motivation to familiarise yourself with new processes and changing tasks.
• An independent, careful and structured way of working and the ambition to produce good parts.
• Team spirit, initiative and good German language skills.
