Role:
A modern workplace stands and falls with well-managed end devices. As an ICT Workplace Engineer, you take responsibility for the operation and further development of Windows clients and mobile devices within Microsoft 365 (M365). Your most important tool is Microsoft Intune, complemented by thoughtful automation. Self-responsibility and a clear focus on stable, secure solutions are required here.
Responsibilities:
You analyse complex faults at 2nd and 3rd level and identify the root cause through root cause analyses.
You specifically develop configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint security policies to harden the devices.
Additionally, you manage update rings and patch management to keep the client environment always up to date.
You package applications and distribute them automatically to the end devices.
Furthermore, you optimise Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint and automate technical onboarding and offboarding with PowerShell.
You also plan changes, migrations, and lifecycle measures and keep operational concepts and documentation up to date.
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of experience in endpoint, workplace, or client engineering.
Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 forms your technical foundation.
You work confidently with device enrolment, MDM, MAM, and policies in Intune and have experience with Windows Autopilot.
You implement software packaging, automated deployments, and Windows Update for Business securely in practice.
Furthermore, you understand the connections between identity, security, and endpoint management and independently resolve policy or update issues.
You also work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, write precisely in German, and read English technical documentation effortlessly.
