A Waiter/Waitress
To complete its teams for the winter season 2026/2027, Télé-Thyon is looking for its "Catering" department:
Your tasks:
- Perform cleaning tasks, set up and dress the restaurant;
- Set up service consoles, wine glasses, cutlery, bread baskets, bill holders;
- Welcome the customer upon arrival at the restaurant, seat them at a table and present the drinks menu then the food menu;
- Take orders and carry out the service for the tables in your section;
- Clear tables, reset them for the next services and tidy the equipment;
- Prepare coffees, drinks, and manage the bar as a substitute for colleagues;
- Apply hygiene, food safety rules and internal procedures;
- Intervene with the customer within the limits of your responsibilities;
- Ensure the cleanliness of the dining room, terraces and surroundings of the restaurant, customer and staff toilets as well as changing rooms;
- Participate in waste sorting according to the establishment's guidelines;
- Contribute to snow clearance of terraces and restaurant access when necessary.
Your profile:
- Sense of hospitality, dining room work and customer service;
- Good interpersonal skills and perfect mastery of customer relationship codes;
- In-depth knowledge of service rules and techniques;
- Good command of English;
- Good team spirit;
- Excellent presentation and punctuality;
- Dynamism and good stress resistance;
- Commercial flair;
- Organisational skills;
- Prior knowledge of the restaurant offer, food and wine menu;
- Knowledge of the resort events and ski area (cabin schedules, names of surrounding mountains, ...);
- Good level of skiing or snowboarding allowing safe access to the workplace, whatever the weather conditions.
