Caregiver / Caregiver on an Hourly Wage
igs Bern offers a home to people with severe cognitive and psychological impairments. In the four residential groups, five residents live in each. They are accompanied around the clock 365 days a year. The daily structure is adapted to their individual needs and possibilities. It is important to us to implement the normalization principle and to promote participation and autonomy among the residents and to enable them to have the highest possible quality of life.
For our Wega residential group in Fraubrunnen BE, we are looking for a competent and motivated personality to support the teams from October 1, 2025, or by arrangement as
Caregiver on an hourly wage (max. 50%)
What you can look forward to
- You accompany the residents in everyday life. You enable them to explore new learning and activity fields and support them in their development.
- You support us in basic care and take on tasks in the house. Both make up a large part of your work.
What you bring
- You have training as a care specialist or health specialist (or equivalent training) or have several years of experience in care and nursing.
- A respectful, benevolent approach to the residents is as important to you as respectful collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
- You appreciate the advantages of irregular working hours.
- You are willing to perform on-call and weekend duties.
