About the job

• You operate, maintain, and install workstation systems, mobile devices as well as peripheral, network, and communication solutions.
• Provision of devices, execution of rollouts, and coordination of the lifecycle including return and replacement of hardware.
• You analyze and resolve malfunctions in the areas of hardware, software, network, and communication and work closely with the service desk.
• You coordinate repairs with suppliers and ensure proper documentation (instructions, checklists, operating manuals).
• You enjoy advising users on procurement as well as on the introduction and further development of workstation solutions.
• You participate in ICT projects, infrastructure planning, and relocations and take responsibility as a product or service owner in defined areas.

• You have completed training as an IT specialist (or equivalent), ideally supplemented by further education in the IT field.
• You bring several years of experience in IT service & support, especially in user support, system technology, or network operations.
• Current knowledge in IT infrastructure and IT security is required.
• You are a resilient, communicative, and independent personality with a strong customer orientation.
• You have experience in service management (e.g., ITIL) or are willing to further educate yourself in this area and work in a structured manner according to defined processes.
• You like to take responsibility (e.g., as product/service owner), support the training of apprentices, and have a category B driving license.
