Lead Kubernetes Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- You are the pivotal point in the design, setup, and maintenance of Kubernetes container platforms. You confidently juggle between on-premise with Red Hat OpenShift and the public cloud with Microsoft Azure.
- You master the entire spectrum from designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
- You are the expert when it comes to supporting customers in migrating their monolithic applications to microservices.
- Ensuring availability, stability, security, and performance of the container platforms is within your area of responsibility.
- You independently take on technical responsibility for specific sub-areas in the context of container platforms and thus contribute significantly to the success of projects.
Qualifications:
- You have a solid education in computer science or a completed degree in this field or can draw on comparable experience.
- With over 5 years of professional experience in IT, of which at least 2 years are in Kubernetes, you have built up sound expertise.
- Your experience includes Linux, Git, OpenShift/AKS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform or similar cloud-native projects.
- You are proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines based on GitHub and/or GitLab.
- You are characterised by your team orientation and focus on customer needs.
- Your language skills are excellent: you have a very good command of German and are also well versed in English.
