To strengthen our team, we are looking for a technically skilled and service-oriented individual as a Product + Application Specialist / Support Technician.
What is the role about?
Are you passionate about analysing technical issues and finding sustainable solutions together with customers and internal specialists? Is your strength in explaining technical contexts clearly and competently supporting customers in the application of our products? Do you enjoy working at the interface between customers, the service organisation, and our international Product Centres?
Then you might be exactly the person we are looking for. In this varied role, you will support our customers as well as internal contacts with technical questions regarding our measurement and automation solutions and make an important contribution to high customer satisfaction.
What tasks will you take on?
You will
- advise customers and internal contacts on technical questions about products, applications, commissioning, faults, and complaints.
- analyse technical problems and develop sustainable solutions together with internal and external parties.
- handle, document, and follow up on service cases and technical enquiries within the framework of case management.
- provide professional support to our service organisation and service technicians in both internal and field service.
- contribute to the maintenance and further development of knowledge management and share technical know-how within the organisation.
- work closely with customers, Product Centres, sales, and other internal departments.
What do we expect from you?
You
- have completed a technical vocational training in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
- ideally have completed a technical further education (HF, TS or equivalent).
- bring several years of professional experience in a technical environment, preferably in measurement, control and regulation technology or industrial automation.
- possess strong skills in technical problem analysis and solution finding.
- convince with your communication skills, service orientation, and structured way of working.
- work independently, responsibly, and keep an overview even with complex issues.
- have very good German and English skills, French is an advantage.
