Change Manager / Trainer (fixed-term) 80 - 100%The Helium project is one of the largest digitalisation projects of the Canton of Zurich at the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs. The goal is the gradual replacement of paper-based working methods and the introduction of a modern, fully digital business administration for the Zurich judicial authorities.
Helium is much more than an IT project. We operate at the interface of user-centred design, business, and technology. Our diverse team of creative thinkers and doers from the fields of UX design, business analysis, and software development deliberately places people at the centre and works closely with our specialist users. Together, we question the status quo, create clarity in complex contexts, and develop well-thought-out solutions that sustainably improve the future working day of the Zurich judicial authorities.
For this demanding transformation, we are looking for a personality who puts people at the centre and takes them along, creates orientation, and pragmatically implements changes. A person who feels comfortable both in a workshop with executives and in training employees. Someone who operates at all levels, can listen, understands existing working methods, and at the same time has the courage to drive change forward.
Your area of responsibility
- You accompany employees and executives through a multi-year digital transformation
- You plan, organise, and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and information events and conduct these and other enablement measures yourself
- You analyse existing working methods, processes, and challenges together with the specialist departments and support them in making improvements visible as well as integrating new systems and working methods safely and successfully into everyday work.
- You develop and implement change, communication, and adoption measures that have an impact
- You recognise resistance, uncertainties, and support needs early and initiate appropriate measures.
- You support executives in safely guiding their teams through changes.
- You work closely with specialist departments, project management, and implementation teams.
Your profile
- You have experience in change, transformation, organisational development, or digitalisation projects
- You know the common change concepts and know how to put them into practice. Prosci, ADKAR, SCARF, etc. are not foreign words to you
- You have experience in designing and conducting training sessions, workshops, or seminars
- You understand that successful change does not arise in concept papers but in the everyday work of people.
- You are interested in professional processes and want to understand how people work today and what they need for successful change.
- You are down-to-earth, pragmatic, and strong in implementation; at the same time, you have organisational skills and keep an overview even with many parallel activities
- You can credibly engage people at different hierarchical levels and win them over for change by communicating clearly, appropriately for the audience, and on an equal footing
- You bring the necessary maturity and life experience to deal constructively with resistance, uncertainties, and differing interests.
- You are not too proud to get involved yourself – whether in preparing a training, conducting a workshop, or supporting a specialist department
