In this role, you are part of the Finance division in the Corporate Real Estate (CRES) department at Zurich Switzerland. You take on a central role in managing our nationwide lease portfolio, are responsible for commercial, administrative, and coordination tasks equally, and thus contribute significantly to the professional and sustainable management of our commercial properties.

What to expect

• You independently manage a portfolio of lease and sublease agreements for commercial properties throughout the entire contract lifecycle - from negotiation to termination or extension.
• You represent Zurich as a tenant and, if necessary, as a sublessor towards landlords, tenants, and other contractual partners and conduct the corresponding negotiations.
• You advise internal stakeholders on lease-related issues and work closely with regional managers and construction project managers on site developments and tenant fit-outs.
• You ensure professional deadline, data, and documentation management and are responsible for the quality of relevant contract and master data.
• You support decision-making processes with reliable information, analyses, and evaluations around your portfolio and actively contribute to the further development of processes, standards, and digital tools.

What distinguishes you

• Solid professional experience (5 years or more) in independent management of commercial properties with proven experience in negotiating and managing lease and sublease agreements; Federal Certificate of Competence in Property Management or comparable further training is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swiss tenancy law for commercially used spaces as well as a strong understanding of the economic and administrative aspects of property management.

• Strong sense of responsibility, structured working style, and enjoyment in driving topics holistically and independently.

• Very good user knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and a high digital affinity; experience with Planon, Power BI, or comparable applications is an advantage.
• Excellent German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills; additional national languages are an advantage.

Travel activity: up to 25% per year

Hybrid working: up to 40%
