The corvaglia group, founded in 1991, is a dynamic and internationally active manufacturer of innovative closure solutions for PET bottles. We have set standards worldwide. Over 20% of all PET bottles for soft drinks worldwide are equipped with corvaglia closures. The headquarters of our family business is located in Eschlikon, Thurgau. Further subsidiaries are located in Mexico and the USA. In the in-house mould making department in Eschlikon, the required and globally renowned injection moulds are built and sold to our partners.

Designer / Project Manager R&D (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your main tasks

• Development and design of closure solutions as well as injection moulds including associated components, assemblies and aids
• Preparation of concept, detail and production drawings as well as creation of parts lists, layouts and technical schematics
• Assumption of project management in product development projects
• Planning, coordination and control of projects including schedule and cost monitoring
• Analysis of technical issues, development of well-founded solution concepts as well as support or implementation of defined measures
• Participation in the preparation, evaluation and examination of injection mould concepts and technical offers
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments to analyse technical challenges and develop sustainable solutions

Your profile

• Completed basic training as a production or polymechanic technician with further training as a machine technician HF or mechanical engineer
• Several years of experience in the design of injection mould tools as well as confident handling of 3D CAD systems
• Practical experience in project management as well as sound knowledge of the injection moulding process
• Experience in the food industry as well as knowledge of filling and packaging machines is an advantage
• Proven project management competence combined with clear, target group-oriented communication across all hierarchical levels
