Your Tasks
- Teaching in the field of image-based practice and media reflection
- Supporting and assisting student project and bachelor theses, individual project support, coaching, and mentoring at the interface of digital and material-related work processes
- Contributing to the planning, organization, and execution of events and exhibitions in the study program
- Bringing in your active, professional network from the contemporary art field. You initiate collaborations, involve relevant actors in the study program, and open up access to artistic, curatorial, and institutional contexts for students
- Active team and project work on-site, including participation in team meetings, conferences, and events
- Contributing to the ongoing strategic, artistic, and organizational development of the study program
Your Profile
- You are an engaged personality with an independent, visible position in the contemporary art field. Your work resonates in the art discourse – through exhibitions, publications, and collaboration with galleries or comparable market-oriented formats
- You have a completed university degree (Master's or Diploma) in Fine Arts or a related artistic, technical, or architectural field
- Your practice engages in a differentiated manner with the production, perception, and significance of images in the present – with an interest in the latest technological (digital) developments
- You possess solid competencies in connecting digital and material-related working methods – in sculptural, installation, painting, or other image-related media
- You have a public presence and maintain a national and international network. You run your own studio with professional infrastructure
- You have experience in dealing with different generations and their interaction with images and media
- Research experience and/or experience with cooperative projects is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of the German and/or English language is required
