We are looking for an IT Systems Specialist for Enterprise Application Integration 80–100% (m/f/d) for our integration team.
As an IT Systems Specialist for Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), you will design and operate the central integration platform of IGS. You will specify, develop, and maintain technical interfaces between our information systems, actively supporting the digitalization of social insurance.

What you will achieve
In this versatile role, you will take responsibility for the technical integration of our information systems:
- Specification of new interfaces in collaboration with application suppliers and subject matter experts
- Operation, maintenance, and further development of the integration platform
- Ensuring technical and functional interface tests
- Development of automation solutions (e.g., using scripting or generators) to ensure stable operations
- Co-responsibility for the definition and further development of integration processes, methods, and procedures
- Close collaboration with application architects, product managers, and external architects
- Point of contact for all technical integration questions
Why you will succeed
For this role, we are looking for an experienced, analytical personality with the following profile:
- Completed training in computer science/business informatics at the HF/FH/University level or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a system integrator, ideally in complex system landscapes
- Solid knowledge in software development, databases, and interface technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, Messaging)
- Experience with automation through scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of IT security in the integration context is an advantage
- Agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe® are familiar to you
- Very good German language skills, good English skills, and knowledge of other national languages is an advantage
