The Competence Area for Children and Youth of the Society Department initiates and implements measures, offers and projects to promote children and youth.
To complement our team, we are looking for you from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement as
Youth Worker 60%
Your tasks- Children's animation in the Kappelerhof district (presence, project work, networking)
- Operational co-leadership of the Youth Parliament (planning, coordination, networking, project work)
- Collaboration in Mobile Youth Work (presence, project work)
- Supporting young people in implementing their ideas and concerns
- Planning and implementing participatory projects and events
Your profile
- Degree from a university of applied sciences in Social Work or equivalent training in a related professional field
- Professional experience with children and young people, preferably in child and youth promotion
- Experience in participatory project work
- Strong communication skills, good presentation competence and a pronounced sense of role awareness
- Ability to plan and implement independently, responsibly and conscientiously
- Fluent German in spoken and written form
- Willingness to work regular evenings and weekends
