Your main tasks
Your main tasks
- Examine any potential grounds opposing the protection of a trademark.
- Analyze the arguments of applicants and, if necessary, draft detailed rejection grounds and final decisions.
- Prepare substantive decisions in the context of opposition proceedings and participate in coordination meetings.
- Clarify in writing legal aspects relevant to various areas of Swiss law.
- Provide information in writing and orally in various languages regarding copyright as well as counterfeiting and piracy.
- Participate in other tasks of the Law & International Affairs Division such as advising Swiss authorities and preparing legislative texts in the field of intellectual property.
- Prepare a current legal question in the field of intangible assets and present it in the context of an internal continuing education course.

Your profile
- Degree (lic. iur., MLaw) in law awarded by a Swiss university.
- Native language French, German, or Italian and good knowledge of French, German, and English.
- Strong interest in intellectual property law.
- Quick comprehension, analytical and synthetic thinking, precise, pragmatic, and goal-oriented working methods.
- Commitment, diverse interests, active participation, and team spirit.
