Do you want to not only administer HR but actively shape it?

For our client, a Switzerland-wide engineering company with a modern organisational approach, we are looking for a committed and technology-savvy HR professional.
In a small, two-person People & Culture team, you will largely independently take on operational HR support and be an important contact person for around 90–95 employees. In addition to the diverse personnel administration, you will have the opportunity to contribute about 20% of your time to organisational development, further develop existing processes, and actively promote the use of modern technologies.

Your tasks

• Independent management of the entire personnel administration along the employee lifecycle – from entry to exit
• Operational support and advice to employees and managers on personnel-related issues
• Coordination of job postings, recruitment administration, onboarding, as well as entry and exit processes
• Responsibility for absence management, collaboration with social insurance institutions, and preparation of payroll accounting
• Participation in organisational development as well as active optimisation and further development of existing HR processes
• Meaningful use of digital technologies and AI tools to simplify and advance daily HR work

Your profile

• Commercial basic training with further education in HR or degree specialising in Human Resources or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in an operational HR role, ideally in an SME or a comparable environment
• Sound knowledge of Swiss personnel administration and enjoyment of a varied HR field of activity
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and good French skills (at least B2)
• Strong affinity for digital technologies and artificial intelligence as well as interest in their practical application in HR
• Independent, structured and proactive working style, combined with a high willingness to learn and openness to new topics
• You are an open, empathetic and solution-oriented personality who takes responsibility, makes decisions independently and keeps an overview even in demanding situations.
• Working in a small team where you can independently drive your topics forward matches your expectations. Occasional assignments at other Swiss locations are well compatible for you.
