School Social Pedagogue / Social Pedagogue 40-60%

The political municipality of Diepoldsau employs – excluding the teachers – around 170 employees in various professions and positions in administration, maintenance service, technical operations, student daycare, and the Rheinauen center.

The Diepoldsau-Schmitter school employs around 105 teachers and educates about 780 students from kindergarten to upper secondary level.

We are looking for a

School Social Pedagogue or Social Pedagogue (40-60%).

• Individual and small group support, class assignments to promote social skills as well as individual development processes
• Practical guidance (FH/HF level) of students during internships and while studying part-time as social pedagogues
• Support of students and/or their families in crisis situations with low-threshold, social pedagogical family support
• Close cooperation with school social work and the school management team as well as the municipal social welfare office to coordinate and network various integration programs

• Degree FH/HF in social work or social pedagogy
• Willingness to complete a CAS in the field if needed
• Preferably experience in a socially oriented and networked activity
• Flexible and independent working style
• Knowledge and preferably professional experience in social pedagogical approaches such as systemic counseling, de-escalation, and conflict resolution
