About our school:
The speech therapy service benefits the four municipalities of Affoltern i.E., Hasle b.B., Lützelflüh and Rüegsau. The region is called the MR-Region Brandis and is located in the middle Emmental, easily accessible from Bern, Burgdorf, Thun and Langnau i.E.. The seat municipality of the MR-Region Brandis is Rüegsau, which is why the schools in Rüegsau are the employing authority. Speech therapy lessons are offered centrally within the school grounds in rooms designated for speech therapy teaching.

Tasks
As a speech therapist, you are jointly responsible with the speech therapy team for the special speech therapy lessons assigned to you and the pupils.
You support and advise teachers, parents and pupils assigned to you in the field of speech therapy.
You participate in the speech therapy team, the special teaching staff (professional exchange), as well as in interdisciplinary work within the staff.
The workload can be adjusted annually.
Requirements
- Certified Speech Therapist (EDK), Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Language Therapy, equivalent qualification or in training for this
- Enjoyment in supporting and promoting children
- You value teamwork and appreciate contributing to a school environment.
We Offer
- Well-equipped, central workspace for speech therapy
- Good ICT infrastructure. From a workload of 7 weekly lessons, you will be provided with a personal teacher device (laptop).
- An Office365 school account
- Introduction and support by the MR management, as well as another speech therapist from the MR-Region Brandis.
- Permanent employment
- The position can be started earlier if required
