Surgical Coordinator Veterinary Medicine (f/m/d; 80-100 %)
This is the first purely surgical coordination position in veterinary medicine in Switzerland. The role is being established: You will not only coordinate existing processes but also develop the structures, processes, and standards for our surgical organisation from the ground up together with the department heads.
Your tasks
- Overall coordination and targeted management of the surgical programme
- Planning and optimised allocation of surgical capacities, personnel, rooms, and times
- Central organisational contact point at the interface of surgery, anaesthesia, surgical technology, ward, and other areas
- Early identification of bottlenecks and prioritisation of elective and urgent procedures
- Development and further advancement of structures, standards, and processes (SOPs) for a reliable surgical organisation
Your qualifications
- Training in human or veterinary healthcare
- Several years of experience in surgical coordination
- Solid experience in the surgical or anaesthesiological operating environment
- Further training in process or workflow organisation as well as experience in moderating meetings and briefings is an advantage
- Strong organisational skills, decisiveness, assertiveness, sensitivity in dealing with different stakeholders
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
