Surgical Coordinator Veterinary Medicine (f/m/d; 80-100 %)

This is the first purely surgical coordination position in veterinary medicine in Switzerland. The role is being established: You will not only coordinate existing processes but also develop the structures, processes, and standards for our surgical organisation from the ground up together with the department heads.

Your tasks

• Overall coordination and targeted management of the surgical programme
• Planning and optimised allocation of surgical capacities, personnel, rooms, and times
• Central organisational contact point at the interface of surgery, anaesthesia, surgical technology, ward, and other areas
• Early identification of bottlenecks and prioritisation of elective and urgent procedures
• Development and further advancement of structures, standards, and processes (SOPs) for a reliable surgical organisation

Your qualifications

• Training in human or veterinary healthcare
• Several years of experience in surgical coordination
• Solid experience in the surgical or anaesthesiological operating environment
• Further training in process or workflow organisation as well as experience in moderating meetings and briefings is an advantage
• Strong organisational skills, decisiveness, assertiveness, sensitivity in dealing with different stakeholders
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
