Our ClientNefab is a globally leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions and logistics services. With around 175 employees at 9 production sites in Switzerland, the company specialises in sustainable packaging solutions for the export industry. The headquarters in Untersiggenthal, with around 110 employees, is the largest site in Switzerland. It is divided into three production areas: crate manufacturing, large-scale industry packing, and logistics/packaging centre. For this, we are looking for a dynamic and solution-oriented leader who, as Head of Product in a matrix organisation, takes responsibility for the product portfolio strategy as well as operational excellence in production. Your Area of Responsibility
- Leadership and promotion of around 60 employees in the areas of sales, crate production, packaging, supply chain, purchasing, and project management
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction through a flexible organisation with "end-to-end" responsibility
- Economical and efficient technical management of the product area while adhering to quality, cost, and throughput time targets
- Organisation of the order centres, professional support for customer enquiries and quotation preparation, as well as ensuring optimal customer care
- Sustainable expansion of productivity, capacity and personnel planning, as well as organisation of a flexible crate manufacturing operation with just-in-time production
- Management of operational purchasing, building a strong supplier portfolio, and ensuring economical inventory management
- Achieving annual cost savings through operational excellence and procurement savings
- Promotion of innovations, product developments, and the sales pipeline
- Management of investment projects focusing on automation and digital transformation including IRR calculations.
Your Profile
- Commercial or technical basic training as well as studies in business administration or sales at university level.
- Further training in leadership or management at a university of applied sciences.
- Many years of professional experience in operations management as well as in sales and purchasing within the industry (MEM sector).
- Solid expertise in Kaizen, lean production management, and digital transformation processes.
- Sales flair and experience in customer acquisition and care
- Several years of leadership experience in production departments as operations manager as well as experience in applying key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficient handling of modern production equipment as well as IT systems (ERP software such as SAP, Navision or Business Central) and MS Office 365.
- Dynamic and charismatic leader with a winning manner and clear leadership structure
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
