Apprenticeship as an IT Specialist in Application Development

What to expect with us

• You will develop challenging business applications together with your team using agile methods and gain insight into an exciting technical environment.
• You will immediately apply your theoretical knowledge in practice, preparing you optimally for your final qualification.
• In the first year of apprenticeship, you will complete an external basic year (Bbc). This enables you to start quickly on productive projects. From the second year onwards, you will work at our headquarters in the centre of Zurich.
• You will attend vocational school one to two days per week. On the other days, you will work with experienced software developers and learn everything you need for everyday work in software development.
• You can complete the apprenticeship with a BMS (vocational baccalaureate), but it is not mandatory.

What you bring

• You attend Sek A in the canton of Zurich or an equivalent level in another canton, have good school performance, and enjoy working with numbers.
• You want to understand what happens beneath the surface of a programme.
• You may have acquired basic programming skills yourself and have already programmed smaller applications.
• You work carefully and reliably.
• You are a team player, eager to learn as much as possible and to achieve something.
