About the job
With outreach and (partially) supported services, the Youth Network Foundation offers individual and flexible solutions for adolescents, young adults, and families. The services of the programmes - family activation – Start-Life youth housing – residential groups - complement each other effectively.
For our internal Psychological Service, we are looking for a psychologist (40% with the possibility of expansion) for the residential groups and Start-Life youth housing, starting immediately or by arrangement.
The Psychological Service provides central, cross-programme services to strengthen our socio-educational, psychosocial client work.
The work of the socio-educational professionals with the clients is based on sound psychosocial diagnostics and derived interventions. All programmes have implemented schema work (schema counselling/schema coaching) and corresponding methods and tools. The Psychological Service supports the professionals in the programmes:
- Conducting/evaluating psychometric tests and corresponding short reports
- Appropriate evaluation discussions with clients and professionals (including psychoeducation)
- Supporting professionals in collaboration with clinics and psychotherapy
- Advising and coaching specialist teams on programme-specific schema work and dealing with dysfunctional schemas
We offer you varied and interesting tasks, independent working methods, thorough induction and further training, diverse, decentralised collaboration: professionals in supported and residential settings, a good working atmosphere in cooperation with the programmes and specialist teams, regular working hours without evening and weekend duties, employment conditions based on the Canton of Zurich, the prospect of increasing the employment level with future tasks, and opportunities for development through active, innovative participation in the further development of schema work in the programmes.
