Role:

You ensure that employees can work reliably and securely on any device. In this position as Workplace Infrastructure Engineer, you operate the Windows client and mobile platform and develop it technically further. The focus is on Microsoft Intune and the services of Microsoft 365 (M365). You consistently automate recurring processes, creating space for real improvements. Technical depth and the ambition to solve problems at their root are essential here.

Responsibilities:

• You drive automated software distribution forward and take care of packaging and deployment of applications.

• You automate recurring workplace processes and administrative tasks with PowerShell, for example when assigning licences and permissions during onboarding and offboarding.

• You manage feature and quality updates via update rings and keep patch management of the clients under control.

• In case of errors related to enrolment, policies, or deployments, you investigate the causes in 2nd and 3rd level support and sustainably eliminate recurring problems.

• Furthermore, you configure device profiles, compliance policies, and security settings for Android, Windows, and iOS devices.

• You also support OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, implement migrations and lifecycle measures, and sharpen technical standards.

Qualifications:

• You bring several years of experience in client, endpoint, or workplace engineering, ideally at least 3 years.

• You are confident with Windows 11 and Windows 10 and know the Microsoft 365 landscape well.

• Modern endpoint management with Intune is your everyday business, from MDM and MAM to compliance and endpoint security policies.

• In addition, you have already rolled out clients with Windows Autopilot and managed updates with Windows Update for Business.

• You understand how identity, security, and endpoint management interact and independently resolve complex error patterns.

• You proactively tackle topics, document comprehensibly, and communicate confidently in German, while English comes easily to you in technical exchanges.
