About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.

For our long-term care at the Rosental Retirement Home, which provides a well-maintained home for 107 residents, we are looking for a committed, communicative, and experienced leader from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Operational management and independent organisation of the residential group

Ensuring professional care and support for the residents

Responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership of the care and support team

Interdisciplinary collaboration, including with the medical service, therapies, care expert, customer advice, and hospitality

Responsibility for the RAI classification

Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines

Your Profile

Qualification as a registered nurse HF/FH with management training or willingness to undertake it

Several years of professional experience, leadership experience advantageous

Willingness to participate in direct care and support

Very good IT skills (MS Office, RAI and PEP knowledge advantageous) and confident German language skills

High social competence and communication skills with strong reliability

Great independence, openness to change processes

Quick comprehension, networked thinking with analytical skills
