The Office for Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs (LSVW) is tasked with protecting consumers through inspections and analyses from health-hazardous foods and consumer goods as well as from deception related to food, and ensuring the welfare and health of animals both for their own sake and for the benefit of humans.

Your tasks

• Contract duration: 1 year
• Would you like to gain professional experience and learn about the organisation and functioning of a government office
• With us, you will manage and support files of the "Animal Protection" section
• You will respond to various enquiries by telephone, post or e-mail
• You will perform additional administrative tasks as required
• You are open to new things and particularly interested in the areas of veterinary medicine and food safety

Desired profile

• You have a gymnasium-level school-leaving certificate or a vocational baccalaureate
• You are familiar with MS Office
• You are proficient in German or French with good knowledge of the other language
