• Support, optimisation and continuous development of complex network infrastructures in the UMB Cloud
• Independent analysis and resolution of network faults (network troubleshooting)
• Participation in the general operation of the UMB Cloud (handling incidents and changes)
• Participation in the strategy, design and architecture of the network infrastructure of the UMB Cloud

• Completed IT apprenticeship or degree and at least 2 years of professional experience as a network engineer in the service provider environment
• Sound expertise in perimeter security, routing & switching, EVPN, BGP, TCP/IP & automation
• Knowledge of VMware, Linux and Windows servers is an advantage
• Knowledge, training or certifications from Cisco & HPE/Juniper are an advantage
• Your German is stylistically secure, and you write and speak English
• Willingness for on-call duty (6 to 8 weeks per year), including some night and weekend shifts
