The Geriatrics Department of Valais Romand brings together several specialised institutions for the care of elderly people. It offers continuity of care adapted to the specific needs of patients by ensuring quality medical, nursing, medico-therapeutic, social and human support.
At St-Amé, you will work in a dynamic clinical environment, at the heart of comprehensive and interprofessional care, focused on complex clinical situations.

Your mission:
- Ensure patient care within the service, in accordance with the HVS strategy and the Professional Practice Model.
- Actively contribute to person-centred care, taking into account the patient’s situation, resources, needs and health projects.
- Ensure the smooth running of the service as well as the quality and safety of care, encouraging the involvement of the patient and their relatives in the care pathway.
- Promote interprofessional collaboration and networking to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
Your profile:
- HES nursing diploma or equivalent (Swiss Red Cross validation mandatory)
- Practical experience in an acute somatic care service desired. Experience in geriatrics is an asset
- Interest in clinical complexity and interdisciplinary work
- Ability to promote and develop quality care
- Interpersonal skills, sense of listening and communication
- Proficiency in IT tools and general office software
- Dynamism, great flexibility and open-mindedness
