The Group Corporate Functions division offers Pictet Group clients and employees a wide range of services; it manages the Group’s headquarters in Geneva as well as its subsidiaries, branches and offices in Switzerland and abroad, and ensures their physical security.
To strengthen the Event Management team, our Geneva office is seeking to hire an Event Manager.
Your role
Oversee the design, planning and execution of internal and external events for the Pictet Group, ensuring they run smoothly, align with the company’s strategic objectives and enhance the Group’s image.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire operational process of events, from defining requirements to execution.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (vendors, internal teams, partners).
- Ensure the quality, consistency and image of the Group at every event.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams of the various business lines to design tailored offerings.
- Participate in the development and promotion of the catalogue of internal and external event services.
- Contribute to the opening and operation of the Group’s new event spaces.
Specific tasks:
- Prepare event specifications and budgets.
- Select and manage vendors and negotiate rates (venues, caterers, technical aspects, etc.).
- Oversee logistics (food and beverage, relocations, travel, accommodations).
- Maintain communication with teams before, during and after the event.
- Manage unforeseen issues and handle post-event follow-up (review, feedback).
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.
- Propose innovations and continuous improvements in event organisation.
Your profile
- Advanced degree in communication, marketing, event management or equivalent.
- Proven experience in event management, ideally in the luxury, banking or institutional sectors (minimum 5 to 8 years).
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a team and rally others around shared projects.
- Diligence, independence, creativity, stress management and a service-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in office software.
- Residence in Switzerland required.
