What you will do here

Develop and teach course content for the interdisciplinary area of Music Mediation/Music in Context - in German, French, and English
Prepare students of the minor and specialization programs for mediation tasks in leadership, ensemble or orchestra, as well as for a freelance career
Initiate discourses and ensure that practice-relevant topics are continuously reflected upon and further developed
Lead and support a team of lecturers and assistants to ensure a comprehensive curriculum and smooth information flow
Deepen and expand connections to the areas of Career Skills, Research, and Pedagogy as well as to other universities and external partners

What you ideally bring with you

University degree as well as experience in mediation practice and research, management, or other music pedagogical areas
Extensive practical and theoretical experience in at least one area of music mediation and strong expertise across the entire discipline
Existing network of relevant partners and institutions in Bern and Switzerland or proven competence in building local networks
Interviews in Bern: 1st round: 26.01.2026, 2nd round: 09.02.2026
